Louis De Guzman, a Filipino-American visual artist, is set to release a new sculptural work from his “In Between The Lines” series which will also be his first functional fine art sculpture entitled, “Detached”. Developed in collaboration with NTWRK, the sculpture not only functions as a standalone art piece, but as an ambient light that you can control via remote. The sculpture allows users to integrate themselves further into De Guzmans’ creative narrative of controlling your own chaos.   Standing at 11 inches tall, the sculpture made from metal alloy, polyethylene, and PVC showcases a still image of geometric shards swarming an etched orb, which seem to “float” above a set of hands.
