Louis De Guzman, a Filipino-American visual artist, is set to release a new sculptural work from his “In Between The Lines” series which will also be his first functional fine art sculpture entitled, “Detached”. Developed in collaboration with NTWRK, the sculpture not only functions as a standalone art piece, but as an ambient light that you can control via remote. The sculpture allows users to integrate themselves further into De Guzmans’ creative narrative of controlling your own chaos.
 
Standing at 11 inches tall, the sculpture made from metal alloy, polyethylene, and PVC showcases a still image of geometric shards swarming an etched orb, which seem to “float” above a set of hands. Controlled via remote, the user can change the color of the orb when illuminated to match their mood or help elevate their spirits.

MADSAKI and MATTEL CREATIONS team up to create this exclusive and iconic drop—a scaled down re-creation of the larger-than-life SKELETOR sculpture that turned the heads of fans and art critics alike as a centerpiece of MADSAKI’S “1984” solo exhibition at Tokyo’s Kaikai Kiki Gallery in 2020, in special color exclusive to the figure version. Measuring 11 inches tall to the top of the staff, with the facial expression depicted in dripping spay paint style, its vivid coloring has been calculated to contrast with the HE-MAN and BATTLE CAT figures produced earlier. SKELETOR, the most famous villain of Eternia, has been sublimated into a unique and special figure, filled with the artist’s childhood memories of being surrounded by his beloved cheap toys and his respect for the culture that greatly influenced him. Each sculpture includes a hand-signed certificate of authenticity from MADSAKI as well as white gloves to better care for your art piece.

Fools Paradise is revisiting one of their early designs with the new Keikotrooper (2021) vinyl art toy. The original figure (2012) featured Keiko wearing a mouse trooper helmet, trooper gloves, boots and little else. The new version features a fifty/fifty design with a fully painted trooper suit on one side and a crystal clear suit on the other, revealing Keiko within. Interestingly, the star this time around is the Trooper suit rather than Keiko herself. It’s an interesting remake that offers a new twist and visual style on the original concept.

Having spent weeks installing their Dickies collab project in the Texas sun, the New York Sunshine Install Team knows first-hand how unforgiving it can be. You might say it feels like it could cook you alive. The New York Sunshine x Dickies Sun Died in Texas T-Shirt satirizes the sometimes-brutal Texas sun. Don't let the skeleton fool you: this shirt is as durable and heavyweight as they come. Founded by John "Sunshine" Margaritis, New York Sunshine teamed up with Dickies to prove the durability of our classic twill fabric through a custom stick-frame house wrapped in the very fabric used to make many of Dickies most iconic pieces. After letting it bake in the sun for the entire summer, the sun-dyed fabric was upcycled to create an exclusive collection. The experience also inspired a parallel New York Sunshine x Dickies collab collection, using classic Dickies silhouettes to communicate the streetwear brand's modern take on workwear.
